Why do I need a Buyer's Agent from The Cheney Company to purchase my house?

Buyer's Agents from The Cheney Company are specially trained, licensed agents who have your best interests in mind.  As a buyer, you need someone on your side helping you make informed decisions throughout the home purchasing process.


What is the process to for the Buyer's Program?

Simply call the office (603) 659-2303 to set up an appointment with Deb or Lisa.  When you come in, we will explain the whole process, from start to finish and get you signed up.


Can I break my lease early if I purchase a home?

 One of the reasons our Buyer's Program is so successful is because it offers our residents the option of flexible lease end dates.  When we represent you in your purchase, you’re still responsible for normal things like cleaning, but there is no penalty for ending your lease early. You can have the lease end on the very day you close on your new home purchase if you’d like, with no extra cost to you.


Does it cost me anything to use your Buyer's Program?

We do not charge our tenants a fee to represent them as Buyer's Agents.  If we are successful in  helping you find a home, a commission is typically paid by the Seller.  


Can The Cheney Company agents only show me properties they list?

Because we are fully licensed Realtors, we can show you any property currently listed for sale in the state of New Hampshire. We take the time to develop a sense of what you are looking for and help you select homes to see.
